General Information:

You will be responsible for the execution of design and validation & verification activities on Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) Components and Constructions (components assemblies). This involves validation of design requirements, verification activities on OEM qualification data, and authorization of Components and Constructions for use in EWIS, designed by Fokker Elmo. Other activities include capturing / analyzing design requirements, performing trade-off studies, advise on selection of Components, support Construction design, performing Component and Construction qualification, writing technical reports and support continuous functional improvements of our Engineering tooling environment working together with multidisciplinary teams, component suppliers and our customers.



• Bachelor Engineering or Master Engineering
in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace engineering;
• At least five years of working experience in the Aerospace industry;
• EDM tool usage (Dassault Systems, Smarteam);
• MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)

Knowledge of:
• Airworthiness regulations;
• Quality management systems;
• (International) design standards and methods;
• Parts & materials application in wiring harnesses;
• Validation & verification process;
• Configuration management process



• Requirements interpretation of EWIS product requirements
• Technical (proposed) means of compliance on customer provided wiring harness requirements
• Capturing / Validation of requirements
• Design of parts & materials (wiring harness) end-point assemblies
• Selection of parts & materials based upon their interaction
• Creation of verification plans
• Define EWIS environmental test set-ups
• Perform execution of environmental testing and logging
• Reporting verification results (analysis, similarity and / or test)
• Handle test anomalies / perform root cause analysis
• Communication with (demanding) customers
